The Punjab Dhee Rani Program 2025, launched under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, is a flagship Collective Marriages Program (CMP) designed to support underprivileged families in Punjab. The Dhee Rani Program 2025 provides financial assistance, dowry packages, and official support to enable poor and deserving parents to fulfill their social and religious duty of marriage with dignity.

Marriage in Islam is not only a sacred contract but also the foundation of a stable and prosperous family life. However, due to rising inflation and financial challenges, thousands of families in Punjab struggle to bear wedding expenses. Recognizing this hardship, the Government of Punjab introduced the Dhee Rani Program to bring relief, stability, and hope by arranging mass weddings and financial aid for deserving brides.

Dhee Rani Program 2025 symbolizes government ownership, inclusivity, and social justice, directly uplifting the lives of poor, orphaned, and disabled girls, while reducing the financial stress of their families.

Eligibility Criteria for Punjab Dhee Rani Program 2025

To apply for the Collective Marriage Programme (CMP), applicants must meet the following conditions:


Eligible Brides:

  • Must be female between 18 to 40 years old.
  • Can be orphan, destitute, differently-abled (PWDs), or daughters of PWDs.

Who Can Apply for Dhee Rani Program 2025:

  • The application can be submitted by the bride herself, or by her father, mother, or legal guardian.

  Residency:

  • The applicant must have Punjab domicile and be a permanent resident.

Application Screening:

  • If applications exceed the quota, selection will be done through electronic balloting.

Affidavit:

  • A sworn affidavit confirming the girl is unmarried and willing to participate in the collective marriage ceremony is required.

Benefits of the Punjab Dhee Rani Program 2025

The programme offers comprehensive financial support and wedding arrangements for eligible brides.

Dowry & Gift Package (Worth Rs. 206,000)

Each bride will receive a dowry package that includes:

  • A Holy Quran
  • A prayer mat (Janamaz)
  • A wooden double bed with mattress
  • A mirror and dressing table
  • A dinner set and kitchen essentials
  • Other basic household items to start married life

Financial Salami (Cash Gift)

  • Brides will also receive a cash gift of Rs. 100,000 – 200,000, credited directly through ATM cards for easy access.

Collective Wedding Ceremonies

  • Thousands of deserving girls across Punjab will be married in dignified mass wedding events.
  • In Phase 1, around 5,000 girls benefited.
  • In Phase 2 (2025), another 1,500 couples are being supported.

NADRA Certification

  • All marriages will be officially registered with NADRA, ensuring proper legal documentation for the brides.

Digital Transparency

  • Funds are distributed through a Biometric Verification System (BVS) and ATM cards to ensure no corruption or misuse.

Step-by-Step Registration Process (Online Application)

The Punjab Dhee Rani Program Registration is fully digital via the official portal.

  • Visit the Official Portal
  • Fill Out the Application Form
    • Enter details like Name, CNIC, Tehsil, District, Gender, and Mobile Number.
    • Ensure the SIM card is registered under the applicant’s name.
  • Set Login Credentials
    • Create a password and confirm it for future logins.
  • Upload Affidavit
    • Attach the affidavit of being unmarried and agreeing to the collective marriage ceremony.
  • Submit & Wait for Verification
    • Applications will be reviewed by the Tehsil Verification Committee (TVC).
  • Approval & Balloting
    • Approved applications are sent to the Program Steering Committee (PSC) for final review.
    • If applications exceed the quota, electronic balloting is conducted.
  • Notification & Account Setup
    • Successful applicants are informed via SMS.
    • A new bank account is created and funds are deposited.
  • Participation in Wedding Ceremony
    • Eligible brides are invited to collective wedding events where they receive their dowry and ATM card.
